St Tropez is designed for both face and body. It is streakless, smooth, odour free and leaves you with a golden brown tan.
How tanning works on your skin:
The liquid spray tan has an active ingredient called DIHYDROXYACETONE (DHA) which reacts with the amino acids in the top (dead) layer of your skin. DHA combines with the amino acids to form brown coloured melanin. Melanin is the dark pigment in skin that protects against harmful effects of ultra violet light.
Because the tan does not go into the blood stream, pregnant and nursing mothers can also get sprayed.
Before Tanning:
Exfoliate your whole body using a glove and exfoliating cream. If you don't, the tan will sit on the dead skin cells and when they fall off, so will your tan. Wax or shave beforehand as the shaver acts as an exfoliater. Do not moisturise before a tan.
What to wear:
We will provide you with a disposable G String or you can wear your own. Don't forget to put your hair up and take off all jewelry.
When to shower:
St Tropez recommend you don't shower for a minimum of 3 hours after your spray for a light tan, 8 hours for a rich tan, or overnight for a deeper tan. At Boho Bronze we do double sprays the same day or you can come back the following day for a back to back spray for a richer, darker tan.
How to look after your tan:
Never use soap straight on the skin as it will dry and crack your skin (and the tan). Always use a moisturising body wash and pat dry (don't rub) your skin dry after showering. Be sure to moisturise after a bath or shower and your tan should last for 7 to 10 days.
