In most countries people exercise 1.5 hours a day, 3 times a week. This is equal to 4.5 hours a week, 18 hours a month, 216 hours a year.
In a Thai boxing camp you exercise 6 hours a day, 6 days a week. This is equal to 36 hours a week, 168 hours a month, 2016 hours a year.
In Thailand you do a years training in one month, the quality of training is very high and if you are training @ a gym with Thai fighters then you will get to see a new level of training to aspire to.
For the complete beginner to Muay Thai boxing, we can teach you correct technique & have your Thai boxing skills up to speed and looking like a Pro fighter in less than 8 weeks of training @ Rawai Muaythai Camp.
For the experienced Thai boxer, we can clean up your technique and improve your power and speed, if you are considering competing in a fight then coming to Thailand for pre fight training will improve performance, fitness, stamina, technique and your over all chances of winning the fight in good style.
Training 6 hours a day is not as had as it sounds. You run for 30 - 60 minutes in the mornings, then you do an hour of one on one Thai Boxing training in the gym with your personal trainer. 30 minutes of post training stretching and you have already completed 2 - 3 hours of training.
@ 4 PM you are back in the gym for another 2 hours of kicking & punching pads with your personal trainer. If you still have energy left then you can do some extra sparing, weight training, stretching, kicking on the heavy bags, skipping or go for another run.
If you are living at the gym bungalows you get to exercise when ever you desire. Many of our students like to do a low Cardio work out between 9pm - 11pm (weight training, stretching & shadow boxing)
In the first week most new students usually can only do 3 - 4 hours of training a day, by the second week their fitness levels & stamina has improved and 5 hours of training a day is easy to achieve, by the 3rd week most people can train 6+ hours a day easily.
The ideal length of time to be training in Thailand is 1 - 3 months. The first 3 weeks you are building on your fitness, stamina & technique. In the second month your fitness is up to speed and looking like a Pro fighter, your loss of body fat is noticeable and you are mentally on an extreme high.
At the end of your 3rd month your fitness is peaking and you will be keen to go home to impress your friends & family with your fitness level & Thai boxing technique.
When you return home to your usual training gym, you then realize how much you have improved in fitness and Thai boxing technique.
